I also felt inspired to start blogging...again. I have started an educational blog a few times, but have always quickly abandoned it, feeling that my time was better spent focusing on the zillions of other tasks that always need to get done. This time feels different, however. I want to be more reflective about my vision for learning, my hopes and dreams for my students, and my personal growth as a learner and a leader. I want to blog not because I feel like I should, but because writing is an important way for me to work through my thoughts and be a better teacher and a better leader. I will make time, I will learn through writing, and I will share my voice. First post done. And now for another cup of coffee.
Yesterday I attended edcamp Hershey. It was my third edcamp and as always, I left brimming with excitement and energy for the edcamp model. The dozen mini Hershey bars I consumed may have helped to build that positive buzz, but most of the credit goes to the organizing team. They did an awesome job!
